36 Years Old

On the occasion of my 36th birthday, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts decided that I needed to renew my Driver's License. While filling out the application, I was presented with the following in the "Change Information" section: "Check here if sex has changed."

Needless to say, I laughed out loud in the otherwise quiet DMV. The part that kills me though is "Note: additional documentation may be required." May be? Under what circumstances won't you need additional documentation? And what does the documentation entail? Note from your Doctor? Photo evidence?

So this is why I had to install the scanning software on my PowerBook. Important stuff.
